Air Conditioning Installation ​
Air conditioning installations are jobs for installing new AC units in residential properties. These are typically single-day jobs involving both indoor and outdoor unit installation.
Engineer Qualifications ​
AC installations require F-Gas certification. Engineers must have:
- Valid REFCom registration number
- F-Gas qualification document
Accepted certification bodies: REFCOM, Quidos (F-Gas Register), Bureau Veritas UK Ltd, City & Guilds, LCL, BESA, HSS.

Completing an AC Installation ​
Engineers must complete the following steps:
1. AC Commissioning Form ​
A mandatory form capturing installation details:
- Job details - Description of work carried out
- Customer details - Name, telephone, address (landlord address if applicable)
- AC unit details - Indoor and outdoor unit serial numbers
- Business details - Registered address, telephone, REFCom number
The form supports both homeowner and landlord customer types, with landlord-specific address fields shown conditionally.
