Push Notifications ​

Push notifications alert engineers to job offers, schedule changes, and important updates even when the app isn't open. This document covers all notification types and their behavior.

Notification Types Overview ​

The app receives notifications for the following categories:

Enabling Notifications ​

  1. Go to Profile > Settings
  2. Toggle Allow notifications on
  3. If prompted, allow notifications in your device settings

First time setup

When you first enable notifications, you'll be asked to grant permission at the device level. Make sure to tap "Allow" to receive alerts.

Managing Notifications ​

In the app ​

Toggle notifications on or off in Profile > Settings.

On your device ​

If notifications aren't working, check your device settings:

  • iOS: Settings > Notifications > Zuno Engineer
  • Android: Settings > Apps > Zuno Engineer > Notifications

Troubleshooting ​

Not receiving notifications?

  1. Check notifications are enabled in Profile > Settings
  2. Check your device notification settings allow the app to send alerts
  3. Ensure you have a stable internet connection
  4. Try closing and reopening the app

Notifications delayed?

Push notifications depend on your internet connection. If you're in an area with poor signal, notifications may arrive late.
