Heat Link Returns ​
After completing Heat Link repairs where a device was replaced, engineers must return the old Heat Link device to the warehouse. The app provides a dedicated screen to track and confirm these returns.
Accessing Heat Link Returns ​
The Heat Link Returns screen is accessible from the Quick Actions on the Job Offers (home) screen.
How Returns Work ​
- Engineer completes a Heat Link repair where the device is replaced
- Old Heat Link is retained by the engineer
- Engineer accumulates devices throughout the month
- Devices are physically shipped back to the warehouse
- Engineer confirms the return in the app
Returns Screen ​
The screen displays all Heat Link devices pending return, grouped by month.
Device Information ​
Each return entry shows:
- Job reference
- Customer name
- Repair date
- Device serial number
Selecting Returns ​
Engineers can:
- Select individual devices to mark as returned
- Select multiple devices for batch confirmation
- Clear selection to start over
Confirming Returns ​
When ready to confirm:
- Select all devices that have been physically sent
- Tap "Send returns"
- Confirm in the alert dialog
Important: Only confirm returns after the devices have actually been shipped. Once confirmed, devices are removed from the list and cannot be accessed again.
